Store owner replied: Hi thanks for the review may i ask are u using often 19mm material for the filler face ? Is so i think the best choice for you were the blue clamps they work with odd numbers like 15 17 19 21 mm the one u got are for even numbers like 16 18 20 22 mm

Not so happy with this item the sizing part is fine and happy with that. But my mechanical pencil doesn't fit in the block very well the hole is a little to snug to get a decent purchase on the metal stem. Having to extend the lead pretty much the whole depth of the block causes risk of misalignment and snapping the lead where it's over extended. Maybe consider a rubber or soft inert to allow variation in sizes accepted.

hey Sorry to rate you in a dislike, just want to raise your attention in the scribing block. I am a cabinet maker in Australia and our carcasses are 95% 16mm white melamine. but the block doesn’t have a 16mm scribe on it.

CAV Joinery Long-Reach Scribing Block for Mechanical Pencil

Store owner replied: Hi Chenyu, Thank you for your feedback. The Long-Reach Scribing Block you purchased does not include a 16mm offset. If you regularly work with 16mm melamine carcasses, you would need our 16–32mm Scribing Block, which includes a 16mm offset and is designed specifically for that application. The Long-Reach version was designed with a different range of offsets and applications in mind, which is why you won’t find a 16mm setting on that model.
