Unlike traditional hinge jigs that use fixed guide bushes, the CAV Precision Hinge Plate Mounting Jig features rotating bearing guides that rotate together with the drill bit. This reduces friction, helps minimise drill bit wear, reduces the chance of the drill bit grabbing or kicking back, and provides a smoother drilling experience.

Suitable for professional installers, cabinet makers, joiners and DIY users, the jig is compatible with all common cabinet material thicknesses and is designed around the standard 32mm cabinet system.
